Be part of the journey.IntroductionResponsible for the assembly, soldering and inspection of electronic assemblies for conformance to established specifications.Key Responsibilitiesassemble and solder electronic components to meet customer and industry workmanship standardscertify to J-STD-001 Joint Industry Standard for Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assembliesensure all soldering meets requirements of IPC-A-610 Workmanship Standards, for class 3 productsdemonstrate proper operation and perform basic cleaning / upkeep on solder stationsutilize manufacturing instructions to ensure acceptable quality results for high reliability assembliesproper material handling techniques to ensure component reliability and to avoid damaging components and assembliesutilize proper technique for clinching and trimming leadsset-up, verify, and use tools and equipment in area, and is certified when required on machines in areaoperate and verify settings of torque wrenches review shelf life of materials prior to usage (when applicable)follow requirements for 1st piece inspections and in-process auditsutilize proper precautions when working with process chemicals and materialsidentify work order, assembly number, and revision level of assembly from manufacturing instructionsperform proper set up and operation of the thermal transfer printers and can navigate the Easylabel label printing programfollow proper protocol for contacting engineering and maintenance personnel for modifications or alterations to equipment, tooling, fixtures, etc.use the appropriate method of requesting changes, corrections or clarification to a manufacturing instructionidentify and segregate non-conforming material (NCM)properly enter shortages/overages into the computer database operate board de-panelizerperform general area/equipment/machine cleaningOther duties may be assigned. Medium: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Constantly finger, grasp, hear, do repetitive motions 90-100% of the time; frequently reach, 60-90% of the time; Occasionally stoop, stand, push, pull, lift, talk 30-60%Visual Acuity: The Team member is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions. Work Environment: The Team member is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not room temperature changes, there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume in order to be heard above ambient noise level. The Team Member is constantly exposed to high heat and chemicals and is required to safety glasses (90-100%).
