One CaliforniaThe FLOOR TECH maintains assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition by performing specialized cleaning tasks, which involve operating heavy-duty equipment and using special cleaning equipment. Duties include:Cleans assigned areas according to established standards and 12-step cleaning process.Scrubs, strips, waxes and buffs floors utilizing automatic and multi-speed floor machines and other specialized equipment.Maintains and cleans assigned equipment.Arranges and/or transports furniture, equipment and supplies.Documents and reports items needing repair and hazardous conditions requiring correction.Stocks supply cart in assigned areas.This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.Must have minimum one-year floor care experience or more in Healthcare or Nursing Home.High School Diploma or equivalentFire Safety card required.
