Machine Operator

We are looking for a Machine Operator to work on-site at a local manufacturing plant. This position will be working 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Anticipated duration is 6 months +.Will operate various types of production equipment (training will be provided).Responsible for clearing jams and basic troubleshooting.Perform basic changeover tasks.Clean, Inspect, lubricate equipment.Responsible for cleaning and maintaining a clean work area.Will assist with movement of product or material throughout the plant.Previous experience in a plant environment is preferred.Must be able to operate and work around industrial equipment.Must be able to walk up and down stairways to platforms.Must be able to work up to 12-hour shifts.Must be able to recognize potential safety dangers around plant equipment and walk-ways.Must be able to lift and move up to a 40-pound load.Must be able to stand for long periods of time (majority of work will be conducted from a standing position).Must be capable of walking the distance from parking lot to designated job area (may be 1 mile+), in addition to walking throughout a large manufacturing plant during course of day for required meetings and other required duties.Additional Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check according to company and client policies.
