EMCOR Government Services has an opening for a Chief Engineer in Bethesda, MD. The Chief Engineer willprovide services to include supervising personnel, and performing maintenance and repair of equipment at the Intelligence Community Campus of Bethesda in Bethesda MD. The scheduled hours are Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.Supervise and assist with the maintenance of site equipment and building structure.Prepare Watch Schedules in a timely manner.Assist EMCS Tech with the monitoring, maintenance and repairs of the BMCS systems on the site.Assist with the troubleshooting of all equipment on site.Supervise the performance of the preventive maintenance of all equipment on site.Institute the corrective action and/or inform his supervisor on any deficiencies found in the course of performing the job.Provide Monthly Reports on Preventive Maintenance system.Attend meetings with Client and USG and be prepared to provide corrective solution to site issues.Supervise Lead HVAC Supervisor, EMCS Tech, HAVC Mechanics, HVAC Tour Mechanics, and General Maintenance Workers.Monitor Subcontractors in their task and provide reports when needed.Perform other task as directed by his Supervisor.An Engineering License is required a Class I Engineering License is preferredSeven (7) or more years experience in maintenance and repairs on Commercial-Industrial building equipment to include but not limited to:Chillers =/+500 tons Pumps Control SystemsAir Handlers Cooling Towers Heat ExchangersVAV’s VFD’sDemonstrate the ability to read and understand Blueprints, schematics and specifications.Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Chiller Plant Operations.Be able to demonstrate practical knowledge of Building Air Systems.Must currently possess an active security clearance of TS/SCI with FSPAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
