This role will primarily support our evening/overnight operations, with a preferred regular schedule of 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM. Initial training will take place on 1st and 2nd shift.Schedule flexibility may be available depending on candidate availability and business needs.Hourly Rate within $18.50 - $21.00. Within this range, individual pay is determined based on skills, experience, and qualifications relative to the job requirements. Base pay information is aligned with market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.We Offer a Competitive Benefit Package Including:Medical, Vision, Prescription, Basic LifeRetirement PlanVacation, Disability, Sick Days, and HolidaysSe Habla Espanol!ResponsibilitiesEnsure accuracy of orders and shipping documents.Identify and fix shipping errors.Prepare Bills of lading, manifests and shipments.Receive orders and add to inventory.Works with shipping & operations teams to meet the required daily activities.Collaborates and communicates with customer service representatives, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products about information related to the shipment.Compiles carrier and route assignments.Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments.Maintain accurate and consistent records.Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.QualificationsQuick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challengesAbility to work in a large, diverse teamAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detailAbility to conduct detailed procedures in a time-constrained environmentGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong sense of time organization and urgencyEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or higher3+ years of experience in logistics operations3+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations2+ customer experience preferredAbility to use data in making logistics more efficientUnderstanding of both warehouse and transportation requirementsExperience processing shipments using UPS and FedEx softwareBasic proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
