Meter Technician

If you are based in the Middlesex area and want a role where your skill and professionalism are recognized—and well-compensated—this is the opportunity for you.Install new residential and commercial meters, fittings and gasketsRecord old and new meter readingsInstall wiring from the meter register inside the building/home to the module mounted outside the buildingVerify proper installation/transmission of new meter dataManage daily client communications, data and reporting Maintain necessary inspection reports and noticesProvide for excellence in internal and external customer serviceCreate a positive experience for customers through professional and courteous behavior while producing high quality resultsAre paid well for their skill and professionalismShould be willing to travel throughout the United StatesPhoto documentation capture: Working with customer service and IT to document initial site conditions to the finished productProvide valuable information such as date and time work was done, conditions upon arrival, out reading, new meter setting and finished product with readingNote that the conditions the setting was made in are in as good or better condition than upon arrivalOSHA 10 Hour certifiedLight plumbing skillsProficiency with hand toolsComputer/data entry skills (tech savvy - we use tablets to capture job data)Ability to work both independently and as part of a team while adhering to strict timelinesClean driving record and reliable transportationMust be able to lift 25 poundsMust pass a background check Job Type: Full-timePay Rate: $30-40/hr based on experience Equal Employment Opportunity Employer#IND1
