Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team in Woodbury, New York. In this role, you will handle a variety of tax-related tasks, including the preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. Your expertise will ensure compliance with tax regulations and help clients achieve their financial goals. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns accurately and in a timely manner. u2022 Review and analyze financial information to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. u2022 Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to streamline and manage tax preparation processes. u2022 Manage K-1 preparation and ensure all required documentation is properly completed. u2022 Conduct thorough reviews of tax documents to identify potential deductions and credits. u2022 Provide clients with guidance on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize savings. u2022 Stay updated on changes in tax laws and incorporate them into the preparation process. u2022 Collaborate with team members to address complex tax scenarios and provide innovative solutions. u2022 Respond to client inquiries and resolve tax-related issues effectively. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in tax preparation, including individual, corporate, and partnership returns. u2022 Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software or similar tools. u2022 Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations. u2022 Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. u2022 CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
