Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Coral Gables, Florida. In this role, you will handle high-volume invoice processing and ensure accurate and timely payment of vendor accounts. Responsibilities: u2022 Process a high volume of invoices with accuracy, adhering to company policies and procedures. u2022 Review and code invoices to ensure proper allocation to the correct accounts. u2022 Perform regular check runs, ensuring timely payments to vendors. u2022 Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and address payment-related inquiries. u2022 Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions. u2022 Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances or issues. u2022 Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable. u2022 Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to streamline the accounts payable process. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable, with a focus on high-volume processing. u2022 Proficiency in coding invoices and managing check runs. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Advanced proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools. u2022 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Knowledge of financial regulations and internal control practices.
