Job Description Client: George Washington University Hospital / Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center (UHS entities) Position: PACS Analyst Openings: 1 Location: 900 23rd NW St, Washington DC 20037 / 1200 Pecan SW St, Washington DC 20032 Duration: Permanent PR: $83,117 - $124,676 / yr Shift: FULLY ONSITE: M-F 9:00-5:00 (hours are flexible --> 40 hour work week) On-Call & Weekends: rotating on-call and weekends (rotation between 3 PACS analyst) Interview Process: u2003u2022 1st round: 30 minute virtual Zoom interview with CIO, Senior Director, and PACS Manager u2003u2022 2nd round: 1 hour onsite with the team Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Insight Global is looking for a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) Analyst that is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the PACS and related imaging systems at two hospitals in Washington, DC. Responsible for leading the operation and human resources for the picture archiving and communication system (PACS). Additionally, this individual will act as a liaison in digital imaging initiatives within the department and other departments. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating existing and participation in new PACS and digital imaging initiatives. Assist with the operating and capital budget requests for medical imaging equipment in conjunction with radiology administration. They need to be comfortable with traveling between the sites in DC required on a weekly basis. Plusses: u2022 Cerner preferred. u2003u25cb Open to Epic experience (system operates on Cerner). u2022 CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional). u2022 CompTIA Network+. u2022 PACS Administrators Registry and Certification Association (PARCA). u2022 American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII). Skills: u2022 Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and DICOM standards. u2022 Knowledge of HL7 and interoperability standards for EMR integration. u2022 Familiarity with Windows/Linux server administration and SQL databases. u2022 Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, etc.) and cybersecurity best practices.
