Pay Range: $18.40 - $25.30 Position Summary: The Assembler Picker Packer is responsible for kitting and shipping workflows for consumables products manufactured by Bio-Techne.Assembler; assembly of kits from component materials, inspectingfinished products, and printing labels according to planned schedule. Picker; pick orders and process them by pulling products throughout the warehouse and stage the items in the pack processing area. Packer; perform double checks for accuracy, pack orders in appropriate boxes, mark and label product containers, and make sure that orders are ready for transportation. Employees will also label and cap products as necessary, break down expired kits,andparticipatein cycle counts Key Responsibilities: u00b7 Follow a kitting document in order to successfully pack orders for shipment u00b7 Collect and inspect finished product prior to packaging u00b7 Box, shrink wrap, label and package shipments as required u00b7 Assemble componentsto meet product cycle times and quality expectations u00b7 Document results, process,and refer to past batch records u00b7 Maintain tracking sheets to monitor product status u00b7 Understandapplicabledatabasesto gather products based on work orders u00b7 Ensure that ordersare picked and packed accurately u00b7 Maintain and organize product storage areas (coolers, freezers and shelves) u00b7 Understand and follow appropriate lab protocolswith capability to follow department specific SOPu2019s and proper use of equipment and hand tools. u00b7 Participate in continuous process improvement efforts u00b7 Additional duties as assigned Education and Experience: u00b7 High School Diploma or equivalent and up to2yearsofrelevantexperience is required u00b7 Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required u00b7 Previous knowledge or experience with MS Dynamic AX is a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: u00b7 Ability to work independently and as a part of a team environment u00b7 Ability to follow work instructions and priorities as determined by a supervisor u00b7 Job will require standing and moving to pack orders u00b7 Must demonstrate flexibility to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment u00b7 Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail u00b7 Ability tolearn how to perform multiple functions within the department Why Join Bio-Techne: We offer competitive insurance benefits starting on day one: medical, dental, vision, life, short-term disability, long-term disability, pet, and legal and ID shield.
