u003cdivu003eu003cdivu003eu003cstrongu003eMust have Plastic Extrusion or Injection Maintenance experienceu003c/strongu003eu003c/divu003eu003cdivu003eu0026 u003c/divu003eu003cdivu003eJob Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician II (multi-craft maintenance/electro-mechanical)u003cbru003e2nd Shift Schedule: 11pm-7:30am M-F, potential overtime daily and weekends averaging 45-55 hours a week.u003cbru003ePay Range: $27-32/hour plus $1.50/hr shift differential.u003c/divu003eu003cdivu003eSummary: Performs the preventive and reactive maintenance duties required for the manufacturing operations of the plant. Priorities of the Maintenance Technician include management and execution of PM schedules, repair of any equipment that is needed to maintain maximum production rates and maintenance of an adequate spare parts inventory. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, weekends as required and fulfill on-call duties for repairs and assistance.u003c/divu003eu003cdivu003eu0026 u003c/divu003eu003cdivu003ePrimary Job Responsibilities:u003cbru003eThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:u003cbru003eTroubleshoot and perform repairs on machines and their controls (DC/AC motor u0026drives, downstream equipment, chillers u0026etc.).u003cbru003eMaintain and build job skills through company training programs.u003cbru003eContact, specify, and order replacement parts u0026control components from supplier as needed.u003cbru003eEffectively contribute to CMMS performance through timely PM u0026Repair Work Order completion while ensuring compliance.u003cbru003e1st responder to troubleshooting machine problems, contact Electrical Engineering if additional support is needed.u003cbru003eSupport Daily Management directives and initiatives.u003cbru003eHelp develop and implement Continuous Improvement projects to improve production efficiencies and Safety.u003cbru003eWork with Production Staff to ensure the safe and reliable operation of plant equipment.u003c/divu003eu003cdivu003eJob Skills:u003cbru003eThis position should possess the following skills/knowledge:u003cbru003eProficient using Electrical Test equipment: Voltmeter, Ammeter, ohm meter, Megger u0026etc.u003cbru003eUnderstanding basic machine function and Sequence Of Operations of production machinery.u003cbru003eProficient in reading Electrical, pneumatics and mechanical drawings.u003cbru003eKnowledge of NEC, UL508A and NFPA 79 codes.u003cbru003eLock Out Tag Out Safety procedures.u003cbru003eArc Flash and PPE Requirements.u003cbru003eProficient in electrical formulas and mechanical math.u003cbru003eKnowledge of 3 Phase Industrial wiring and power distribution.u003cbru003eAC, DC and Servo Drive / Motor experience.u003cbru003eTroubleshoot PLC I/O and networking.u003cbru003eMotion Training with Servo Drives and Motors.u003cbru003eProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.u003c/divu003eu003cdivu003eEducational Requirements:u003cbru003eHigh School / Vocational School Diploma or Equivalent - Requiredu003cbru003eTechnician level - Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic - Preferredu003c/divu003eu003cdivu003ePreferred Experience:u003cbru003e2+ years Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Systems and Controlsu003cbru003eBasic PLC and Drive trainingu003cbru003ePlastic process knowledge a plusu003c/divu003eu003c/divu003e ', 'location ': 'Owosso, MI ', 'remote ':null, 'jobtype ': 'directhire ', 'remoteoption ': 'no ', 'featuredonjobboard ':false, 'ownedbyagency ':false, 'externalid ': 'OH125-2747275
