Now Hiring: Dining Room ManagerLocation: Avila Golf and Country Club, North TampaCompensation: $50,000Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Health and wellness benefits.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Employee discounts and perks.Collaborative and positive team culture.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the daily operations of our club’s dining services, including all a la carte food and beverage production across various outlets (Vista Grille, Men’s Grille, Terrace, Snack Bars, etc.). The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader with a passion for hospitality, fine dining, and guest satisfaction. You will manage and supervise the food and beverage staff, ensuring the highest quality service, efficient operations, and cost-effective performance. As part of a dynamic team, you will work closely with the Food and Beverage Director, Executive Chef, and other department leaders to deliver an exceptional experience for our club members and guests.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all food and beverage operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences.Directly supervise servers, bussers, bartenders, beverage cart, and to-go personnel.Plan and implement service schedules for regular dining periods and special events.Train, develop, and manage food and beverage staff, including orientation and ongoing professional development.Control food and beverage costs, monitor daily revenue, and ensure proper financial procedures are followed, including guest check analysis, tip reports, and sales reports.Assist in recruiting, staffing, and managing the department’s long-term staffing needs.Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to control costs, labor, and inventory.Ensure compliance with all legal regulations, including wage/hour laws, food safety, and alcohol consumption requirements.Collaborate with other club departments, including catering, golf, and tennis professionals, to maximize guest satisfaction and minimize costs.Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and safety across all food and beverage operations.Ensure regular training and safety procedures are followed, including OSHA and food safety certifications.Assist with creating and promoting marketing, sales, and wine programs for the department.Oversee the physical inventory process and provide updates to accounting for inventory reconciliation.Handle guest complaints and resolve service issues promptly.Serve as the manager-on-duty on a scheduled basis, overseeing club operations during shifts.Qualifications:Education: Four-year degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.Experience: Minimum of four years in a fine dining environment with leadership experience.Strong knowledge of food and beverage cost controls, accounting, and operating procedures.Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.Polished and professional appearance and demeanor.Ability to manage stress, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.Strong team-building skills and ability to train and motivate staff.Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.Licenses and Certifications:Food Safety Certification.Alcoholic Beverage Certification.Physical Demands:Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, climb stairs, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and potentially humid environment.Repetitive motions required.If you're ready to join an exceptional team and bring your expertise to our dynamic dining services, apply today!USD $50,000.00 - USD $50,000.00 /Yr.
