Facility Maintenance Technician

If you are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we strongly encourage you to apply!PAY: $20.00 - $25.00/hourShift Differential: $1.50/hour*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, education/training, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.BENEFITS/PERKS:Paid vacation + 11 paid holidaysHealth benefits within 30 days401k Plan + Company matchCasual attire (jeans are ok!)Other $$ Incentives - Perfect Attendance, Quarterly Production BonusOperating and maintaining the floor scrubbers throughout the plantUse the floor scrubber on a daily basis to keep plan walk and drive aisles clean throughout the facilityCheck waste at glue drums and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the compactors dailyKeep the outside of the building premises clean including entrances - pick up all debrisClean/vacuum the 18’ rat runs around the plant specifically the baler areasKeep all fans clean throughout the facilitySweep/dust production areas as outlined in the plant cleaning schedulesClean around dock doorsCheck for any water leaks throughout the facility regularly. . Identify and remove water from any buckets.Keep the mezzanines above the office areas clean including over the pre press areas.Keep the boneyard area aisles free of any obstruction .Keep all the plant entrances clean and free of snow buildup throughout the winter months.Provide building maintenance support as required for miscellaneous projectsWhat you will need to succeed:Must be able to stand for long periods.The ability to work well within a team environment.A strong work ethic and positive attitude!High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a physically demanding position.
