Research Associate II, Biophysics

WuXi AppTec is looking for a highly motivated Research Associate II to join our biophysics team in Natick, MA. This role will provide lab support for both small and large molecule client projects using a range of biophysical techniques. Support biophysical binding assays Follow SOP’s and perform SPR, TSA, MST, and other biophysical assays as required Support instrument maintenanceUnderstanding of protein sciences, including binding affinity and kineticsEffectively communicate with internal team colleagues and external clients to promote world class servicesExperience / Education Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry, or a lab-based discipline required. 2+ year of work experience is preferredDemonstrated strong understanding of complex scientific procedures and technical proficiency with in vitro based assaysOutstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to seamlessly fit into a team-oriented environmentKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:Basic troubleshooting and planning skillsExcellent written, oral and interpersonal communication abilitiesIn vitro lab skills (pipetting, measuring, following lab protocols)Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to work in a team environmentMust be able to read, write and understand English. Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in an office environment with minimal noise conditions.
