Escrow Assistant

Fidelity National Financial, Inc. (NYSE: FNF) is seeking an Escrow Assistant to join its Alameda, CA office. In this position, the succesful candidatewill be providing support to the Escrow department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to Escrow closings primarily focused on residential transactions.Greet CustomersOpening orders and setting up filesDepositing fundsRequesting loan payoffsOrdering insuranceClearing title - Reviewing prelims - dailyPreparing funding packages and recording package write-upsFunding conditionsPreparing files for closingCommunicates requirements and other information to clientsInterprets various agreements as they relate to closingPrepare documents required for transactions.Daily BankingOther tasks as assignedHigh School Diploma or equivalentSome related experience such as in Escrow, Title Work, Lending, Real Estate or Administrative roleExcellent verbal/written communication skills• High attention to detail and accuracy• Must be a self-starter• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize with an outgoing personality and high energy level.• The ability to work independently and as a strong team player and work in a high volume and fast-paced environment is required.• Able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all timesThis position is eligible to earn compensation in the range of $27.00/hourly based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience.
