Overview Responsible for engaging target market in communities and for providing case management, advocacy, service referrals, and training to Cherokee Nation citizens experiencing poverty. QualificationsEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT Associate's degree from a 2-year college or technical school; or two (2) years (60 credit hours) coursework from a 4-year college or university; or three (3) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT No additional experience PUTER SKILLS An individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets the requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.OTHER QUALIFICATIONSThe employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).Must meet and maintain periodic background investigation and adjudication for child care.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), and extreme heat (non-weather).
