This position may also require the use of hands for frequent simple grasping, fine manipulation, and power grasping. Reaching is frequently required at waist level and below waist level. The employee will frequently need to bend, kneel, balance, or squat. The employee will be performing a variety of physical labor including (but not limited to) climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods of time; lift and carry boxes, tools, equipment and materials.RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform maintenance service and repairs on Diesel trucks and enginesCollaborate with diesel mechanic team to provide updates and repairs to diesel trucks and enginesUses hydraulic jacks or hoist to gain access to the underside of the unit to aid in the removal or replacement of assemblies such as engines, transmissions, differentials, springs, etc.Utilize electronic diagnostic tools and computer software to assist in the troubleshooting and repair of heavy-duty truck engine, braking, electrical, cooling, and exhaust systemsThe person hired for this position will be included on the rotation for the Jarrett Fleet Services Service spect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose malfunctionsDetermine corrective action of maintenance through repair manuals and experienceUse tools such as common hand and power tools, hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenchesMaintain tools and/or equipment to ensure the availability of the equipment in safe operating conditionSafely operate vehicles of various sizes in the loading, hauling, and unloading of various equipmentMaintain appropriate records of activitiesMaintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in all maintenanceAdhere to all company health and safety policiesWhat’s In It For You?Medical (3 plan options including HSA plans with employer contribution)/Dental/Vision insurance offered on 31st calendar day of employmentCompany-paid life insurancePaid time off plus 8 paid holidays each calendar year starting at 31st calendar day of employmentCounseling session reimbursementRobust wellness program including a gym membership discountTuition reimbursement401K matching offered at one year of employmentTraining and development opportunitiesOpportunity to be a part of a company culture where we care about YOUOpportunities to give back to local communitiesFirst shiftTHE LOCATION:This position is based in Seville, OH.
