Facilities Technician 2

Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Technician for a contract opportunity located in Greer, SC. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Technician to support general maintenance operations for assigned buildings. The ideal candidate will ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained during third-shift hours. Key Responsibilities: Monitor facility conditions to ensure safety, security, and maintenance standards are upheld. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, HVAC systems and controls, and mechanical equipment. Perform general and preventative maintenance, including carpentry and plumbing repairs. Coordinate with vendors for specialized maintenance services. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as necessary. Move and set up office furniture, machinery, and other equipment as needed. Required Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Basic knowledge of tools and equipment, including their use, design, and repair. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of relevant maintenance experience.
