Litigation Paralegal

Description Our client, a construction services law firm in Oakland is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join its team on a full-time, fully onsite contract basis (40 hours/week). This role offers the opportunity to work on complex civil litigation matters, including discovery, trial preparation, and eDiscovery, with the potential for permanent hire based on performance and team fit. Key Responsibilities + Draft and respond to discovery requests + Prepare pleadings from templates and manage case filings + Draft and process subpoenas + Assist with exhibit lists, witness binders, and trial logistics + Coordinate with attorneys to ensure readiness for hearings and trials + Conduct document review using Relativity + Organize and manage eDiscovery processes for civil litigation cases Requirements Qualifications + 3u20136 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, specifically in civil litigation + Proficiency with Relativity and a solid understanding of eDiscovery workflows + Demonstrated experience supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation + Strong knowledge of civil procedure, court rules, and filing requirements + Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills + Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities with minimal supervision + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor + Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment + Experience with construction-related litigation or construction law firms (preferred) + Familiarity with additional eDiscovery platforms or litigation support tools (e.g., Concordance, CaseMap, Everlaw) The ideal candidate will bring 3u20136 years of litigation experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment Robert Half is the worldu2019s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
