Accounting Associate

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team in Burbank, California. In this role, you will focus on accounts receivable functions while contributing to the financial health and efficiency of the organization. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in finance and accounting processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts receivable functions, including accurate invoicing and timely billing processes. u2022 Review and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. u2022 Collaborate with vendors and partners to troubleshoot billing discrepancies and resolve issues. u2022 Create and maintain detailed documentation of financial transactions for audit and reporting purposes. u2022 Support budget planning and cost analysis efforts to optimize financial operations. u2022 Participate in procurement processes to ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines. u2022 Assist in campaign planning by providing financial insights and tracking media-related expenses. u2022 Train team members on financial procedures and tools to enhance overall efficiency. u2022 Monitor brand awareness activities and marketing campaigns for financial impact and alignment. u2022 Coordinate travel expenses and ensure timely processing of reimbursements. Requirements u2022 Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting. u2022 Previous experience in accounts receivable or similar roles within finance. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines through effective planning. u2022 Familiarity with billing functions and invoice reconciliation processes. u2022 Knowledge of procurement and vendor management practices. u2022 Experience with budget planning and cost analysis. u2022 Understanding of marketing and media-related financial tracking is preferred.
