Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Indio, California. In this role, you will handle various accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, credit card processing, and purchase order management. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for accuracy in financial processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts receivable and credit card transactions with precision and efficiency. u2022 Conduct collections calls to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding balances. u2022 Manage purchase orders, including tracking, processing, and verifying accuracy. u2022 Handle accounts payable tasks, including reconciliations and timely invoice processing. u2022 Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies. u2022 Set up and maintain accurate records for customers and vendors. u2022 Coordinate warranty claims and emergency work orders to meet client needs. u2022 Oversee licensing renewals and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a related field. u2022 Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. u2022 Familiarity with QuickBooks and other accounting software. u2022 Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. u2022 Experience in invoice processing and reconciliation. u2022 Ability to handle collections and manage outstanding accounts. u2022 Prior experience in construction or HVAC industries is preferred. u2022 Knowledge of purchase order management and expense reporting.
