Staff Accountant

Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Staff Accountant in Laguna Beach, California. This role is central to our clients real estate team, primarily focusing on accounts payable tasks using Yardi software. The role is in-office and offers an exciting opportunity for those with a background in accounting. Responsibilities: u2022 Execute and supervise accounts payable using Yardi software u2022 Perform check runs and contribute to other accounting tasks as needed u2022 Offer support to property management and office tasks as required u2022 Ensure precision and meticulousness in all financial transactions u2022 Handle accounts receivable tasks and bank reconciliations u2022 Maintain and manage the general ledger u2022 Record and manage journal entries u2022 Close financial records at the end of each month u2022 Use accounting software like NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP effectively. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar. u2022 Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. u2022 Demonstrated experience in performing Bank Reconciliations. u2022 Familiarity with General Ledger management and maintenance. u2022 Ability to prepare and adjust Journal Entries as required. u2022 Experience in executing Month End Close procedures. u2022 Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software. u2022 Knowledge of Oracle financial software systems. u2022 Experience with QuickBooks accounting software. u2022 Familiarity with SAP financial management systems.
