Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager

Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Jericho, New York. This hybrid position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in accounts receivable and cash applications, coupled with proven leadership abilities. The role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and optimize AR processes in the dynamic real estate and property sector. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee and manage the accounts receivable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions. u2022 Monitor cash application activities, ensuring all payments are correctly applied and reconciled. u2022 Analyze aging reports to identify outstanding accounts and implement strategies for effective collections. u2022 Develop and maintain billing procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency. u2022 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address and resolve discrepancies in accounts. u2022 Prepare detailed reports and provide insights on receivables performance to leadership. u2022 Utilize MRI software to manage AR processes and ensure compliance with company standards. u2022 Lead the implementation of best practices to optimize accounts receivable workflows. u2022 Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and cash application processes. u2022 Proven management experience, with the ability to lead and develop a team. u2022 Strong knowledge of commercial collections and aging report analysis. u2022 Proficiency in billing functions and reconciliation processes. u2022 Experience with MRI software or similar accounting tools. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Effective communication and leadership abilities.
