Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Pensacola, Florida. This role is essential for managing the financial operations of the organization, including overseeing month-end processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate reporting. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate completion. u2022 Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. u2022 Develop and manage financial reporting processes to support organizational goals. u2022 Oversee budgeting and forecasting to align with strategic objectives. u2022 Allocate expenses across departments to maintain balanced financial records. u2022 Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. u2022 Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards. u2022 Support audits and provide documentation as required. u2022 Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or a related field. u2022 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management. u2022 Proven experience with financial reporting and internal controls. u2022 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. u2022 Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
