Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Miami, Florida. This position requires someone with strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a passion for managing financial data. The role involves handling accounts payable tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining financial records. Onsite role Starts immediately u2022 Process and code invoices accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies. u2022 Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments and transactions are properly recorded. u2022 Enter financial data into spreadsheets and accounting software with precision. u2022 Assist in preparing and executing check runs as necessary. u2022 Verify and validate invoice details to ensure accuracy and completeness. u2022 Utilize financial software, such as Financial Edge, to maintain and update records. u2022 Perform backup duties as needed to support the accounting team. u2022 Conduct regular data entry tasks with speed and attention to detail. u2022 Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies in financial records. u2022 Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role. u2022 Proficiency in coding invoices and reconciling accounts. u2022 Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Experience with financial software, such as Financial Edge, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. u2022 Familiarity with accounting platforms like Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP is a plus. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. u2022 Candidates must successfully complete a data entry test prior to hiring.
