Outside Guest Services

Position Summary:The Outside Guest Services Staff (OGS) consists of bag room (where applicable) range, bag drop, 1st tee player assistants, starters and cart attendants. These individuals provide golf bag, golf cart, driving range, staging and on-course assistance to guests of the property. Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Must be extremely organized, efficient and detail-orientedMust be highly motivated, goal driven and self-starterMust have a good work ethicMust have good communication and interpersonal skillsMust have friendly personality and enjoy working with guests and fellow team membersMust be dependableAbility to use equipment and tools properly and safelyMust have valid driver's license (if driving golf carts or driving range equipment) Responsibilities:Provide a memorable guest experienceMust be team orientedMaintain a professional appearanceBrings golf carts from cart barn to cart staging area outside golf shopLoad bags onto cart(s)Load rental clubs onto cart(s) as neededGreets guests at designated bag drop area and loads bags on to cartsGives directions to guests for golf shop, first tee, driving range, etc.Transports range balls to driving range and fills appropriate containersOperates range picker on range to retrieve ballsWash all range balls dailyCollects and Returns carts to cart barn and washes carts accordingly to standard operating procedures, parks carts in designated spaces and connects charger cables (where applicable) in a safe manner to avoid damage. See Standard Operating ProceduresImplement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by managementPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Working Conditions:While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and hands.The employee often is required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects.The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally.The employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.Moderate exposure to heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards and electrical hazards.
