Quality Manager - Fostoria, OhioPerformance Carbon Business UnitMorgan makes advanced materials that help other industries do difficult things like handling extreme heat, pressure, or precision. Our Performance Carbon business unit focuses on engineered carbon products used in everything from aerospace to industrial manufacturing. This role is central to keeping that quality bar high.We’re after someone who knows ISO 9001 inside out, can lead a team, and isn’t fazed by audits, complaints, or calibration schedules. You’ll be the person making sure our carbon products meet spec, our processes stay sharp, and our compliance boxes are ticked for the right reasons.The RoleYou’ll lead the Quality Management System (QMS) for our Fostoria site. That means overseeing inspections, audits, complaints, and compliance. You’ll work closely with vendors, internal teams, and customers to make sure quality isn’t just a buzzword, it’s built into everything we do.Run the QMS and ensure it meets ISO 9001, customer, and legal standardsManage internal audits, customer complaints, and corrective actionsOversee inspection of incoming and outgoing materialsMonitor and improve internal processes that affect product qualityLead calibration and inspection of measuring devicesConduct management review meetings and report on QMS performanceSupport daily operations and drive continuous improvement projectsEvaluate vendor quality systems and support RFQsAssist with export compliance and handling of controlled informationAbout You / What You’ll BringBS in engineering, chemistry, or similar7+ years in quality or process engineering, ideally in manufacturing5+ years in a leadership roleSolid grasp of ISO 9001, quality assurance/control, and QMSExperience bridging product development and manufacturingStrong communication and problem-solving skillsComfortable with Microsoft Word and ExcelAble to work well across teams and with external contactsUS citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual (due to ITAR/EAR/NRC regulations)Detail-oriented, organised, and not afraid of a bit of paperworkNice to HaveProject management experienceBackground in industrial, refinery, or materials sectorsExperience with export compliance and handling CUIWhat You’ll GetCompetitive salary and benefitsA role with real impact in a business that values precision and qualitySupportive team and leadershipOpportunities to improve processes and shape how things are doneIf this sounds like you, apply now.Don’t have an up-to-date CV?
