Start a career with us today!As an Electrical Helper, the general role is to work in conjunction with Electricians and Electrical Foreman to install, maintain, and repair various electrical components within customer locations. This individual will be exposed to both low and high voltage electrical applications, and work in a wide array of industries including: Construction, Manufacturing, Power Plants, Commercial, Aggregate, Oil and Gas, Coal, Wind Energy, etc.The Electrical Helper will report to the Electrical Department Manager and will work primarily out of the Farmington location.Assist Electricians and Electrical Foreman with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systemsInstall lighting, electrical outlets and circuit breakersInstall conduit and cable tray systemsTroubleshoot electrical problems under the supervision of a state journeyman electricianEnsure that all work is completed in compliance with relevant codes and standardsMaintain a safe and clean work environmentTravel to various job sites as requiredUtilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment pertinent to the electrical tradeAssist with paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping, billing and inventoryAssist in other areas of the company and perform other duties as assignedOther DutiesThis job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required for this position.
