The Transition Manager leads all planning and execution activities required for program transition-in, ensuring seamless service continuity from incumbent operations.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and manage the 30/60/90-day transition plan.Coordinate asset inventory, staff onboarding, and data migration activities.Facilitate knowledge capture and transfer from incumbent teams.Support ITSM tool migration and integration with DMI’s MyServeReport transition status and risk mitigation strategies to the Program Manager and client.Education and Years of Experience:Bachelor’s degree in management, IT, or related discipline or equivalent experience8+ years of experience managing IT transitions or operational start-ups.Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transitions in secure or regulated environments.PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. CitizenPhysical Requirements: No physical requirement is needed for this position.Location: Hybrid, Chicago ILDMI is a diverse, prosperous, and rewarding place to work.
