Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welder Laborers for projects located in Ruther Glenn, VA. This is an opportunity with multiple shifts available and with a pay rate up to $20/hr based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder Laborer eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!Job Scope:Assist in cutting grinding deburring and cleaning metal surfaces to prepare them for weldingLoad unload and transport materials to and from welding stations using appropriate equipment e.g. forklifts hoists hand trucksMeasure mark and position materials and components for weldersHelp set up and dismantle welding equipment including machines cables and gas cylindersClean and maintain welding tools and equipment e.g. grinders torches welding guns to ensure they are in good working orderMonitor and maintain appropriate stock levels of welding consumables e.g. electrodes wire gasHold or secure parts in place during welding or tacking operationsPerform basic grinding and brushing of welds to remove excess material or impuritiesOperate hand and power tools as directed by the welderUnder supervision may perform basic tack welding or simple fabrication tasksMust be able to pass a background check and drug screeningMust have HS Diploma or equivalentTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
