Offering an unmatched, 360-degree solution set for a collection of world-class owned venues and a client roster that includes the most influential, highest attended arenas, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions on the planet.Under supervision of the Director of Ticketing, the Box Office Attendant is responsible for ticket sales and customer service for all ticketed events at the NOW Arena.This role will pay an hourly rate of $20.00Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matchingThis position will remain open until December 31, 2025.NOW Arena is an 11,800-seat multi-purpose family entertainment, cultural and sports center. Seating capacity for the arena ranges from 3,000-6,000 for theater shows; 9,400 for football, hockey, lacrosse and soccer games; 10,000 for basketball games and 11,800 for concerts.Know and understand the operations of the Ticketmaster ticketing systemFamiliarize yourself with each event (ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, reserved or general admission seating, etc.)Know and understand seating charts and configurations of the NOW ArenaPerform transactions for all events on the ticketing system with efficiency and accuracy Collect proper currency or credit card amount for purchase of ticket(s) as well as give back proper number of tickets and correct changeCommunicate and satisfy patrons with world class customer serviceOperate phone and address call in patrons’ requests for informationReconcile all monies received from ticket salesMaintain confidentialityAdditional duties may be assigned by the Director of TicketingAbility to multitask in a fast‐paced environmentFamiliarity with Windows based computersPossess excellent customer service skillsExperience working with the public and cashAbility to work independently and as a productive member of a teamCapable of working a flexible schedule and extended hours, including but not limited to working early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays in addition to traditional business hoursMust be able to work in a loud noise environmentMust be over 18 years or olderStrong verbal communication skills in the English language (Spanish is a plus)Proven ability to work well with all levels of managementStrong analytical and problem‐solving skillsAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
