ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT FOR REMOTE POSITIONS:For remote positions, all candidates must complete a video screen with our corporate recruiting team.POSITION SUMMARY:We’re looking for Data Engineer in Washington for one of our reputed client.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Query and prepare set of subscriptions and services to be migrated by querying selected data sources (AIRS, Service Tree, Provisioning Kustos)Run the toolset for migrating internal subscriptions to NCE (geneva actions1 and powershell scripts)Modify scripts for running migration stepsEnsure consistency across all Microsoft tools that support internal subscriptions and avoid Incident creations/regressions by comparing data across data setsPerform steps from Troubleshooting Guides to fix deviations and execute tasks to ensure consistency across servicesFollow-up on opened incidents on other teams to ensure migration is completedCreate monitors to track inconsistencies after subscriptions migration (e.g. detect legacy subs for services marked as modernized)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:3-5 yearsof professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or related technical roles.Proficiency inSQL Server(writing complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).Hands-on experience withKusto Query Language (KQL)andAzure Data Exploreror related tools.StrongPowerShell scriptingskills for automation and system administration.Must be inlocated in WA - preferably in Redmond.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and documentation abilities.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience working in acloud-based environment(Azure preferred).Familiarity withdata visualizationtools such as Power BI.Knowledge ofETL processesand data pipeline orchestration.Prior experience working in or withMicrosoft projectsWHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER:Because we know how important our people are to the success of our clients, it’s a priority to make sure we stay committed to our employees and making Beyondsoft a great place to work.
