To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visitwww.amcor.com|LinkedIn|YouTubeRESPONSIBILITIES and AUTHORITY:Responsible for monitoring and insuring quality of containers and lids per specificationsResponsible for following all plant Life Saving BehaviorsResponsible for following any safety guidelines the department has in placeResponsible for reporting any injuries or unsafe acts immediately to designated staff (leadership team, HR etc.)Responsible for maintaining a high level of housekeeping in and around work area throughout the course of the shiftPerform miscellaneous tasks for Printing Department or other departments as neededClean and make minor adjustments to machine and auxiliary equipment during production run to insure parts meet specificationComplete paperwork during the shift or at the end of a shift as requiredOther duties as established by Printing Manager or Group LeaderIf at any time a customer's quality expectations are not being met the operator has the authority to shut the press down and call technical staff for assistancePrinting Operators have the authority to make minor adjustments to color and change blankets during a production run when proper training has been establishedAll Printing Operators have the authority to stop production if they feel working conditions are hazardous or unsafe for either themselves or a coworkerFollow all GMP, SQF and ISO standardsQUALIFICATIONS:Basic mathematics skillsMust be self-motivated and able to work under pressure of deadlinesAbility to lift a minimum of 35 LBS when necessaryAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to follow direction and instruction given without constant overseeAbility to adapt to changes made to scheduling throughout the course of the day in order to meet customer needsMust be able to pass color blind testGood attendance, good work ethic and good performance evaluationsAmcor is a global leader in packaging solutions for consumer and healthcare products.
