Description Natalie Lue with Robert Half is recruiting for an onsite HR/Payroll Generalist. This is a full-time permanent role onsite in San Francisco In this role, the HR/Payroll Generalist will play a key part in managing human resources functions and payroll operations while ensuring compliance with multi-state regulations. This position requires a hands-on individual who thrives in a collaborative and close-knit work environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Serve as the primary HR contact, managing day-to-day human resources operations and providing support to employees. u2022 Oversee payroll processing using Paychex, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while working closely with the Controller. u2022 Handle job postings, draft offer letters, and create job descriptions to support recruitment efforts. u2022 Coordinate and conduct safety trainings and other required employee training programs. u2022 Manage multi-state HR functions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations in various locations. u2022 Provide guidance on employee relations matters, fostering a positive work environment. u2022 Administer employee benefits programs and assist with onboarding processes. u2022 Maintain HR records and systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. u2022 Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources and payroll functions. u2022 Proven experience with multi-state HR operations and compliance requirements. u2022 Skilled in using payroll systems, with prior experience in Paychex being a plus. u2022 Strong knowledge of employee relations, onboarding processes, and HR administration. u2022 Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefit administration processes. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information. u2022 Ability to work onsite daily in San Francisco, California, and provide reliable support to the team. u2022 Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a small, close-knit team environment.
