Every other Saturday or Sunday and every other holiday.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Provide clinical supervision and coordinate unit clinical operations under the direction of the Nurse Manager.Supervise and participate in delivering patient care, ensure continuity of patient care information between shifts, and coordinate patient admitting, discharges and transfers.Provide ongoing clinical evaluations of caregivers, counsel caregivers on performance issues, administer initial corrective actions, monitor attendance issues and review major operational patient care issues with the Nurse terview, select and orient new caregivers.Prepare work schedules to ensure adequate coverage on all shifts.Participate in and support quality improvement projects, outcomes, studies and research initiatives.Monitor the adherence to EEO/AAP goals and guidelines.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursingBachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Or the American Red CrossIf in a Critical Care area an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of employmentTwo years of recent clinical nursing experienceOur caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
