Job Description

This role will be working in shipping and receiving/ dock on 1 st shift which is 7:00am-3:30pm. The annual base pay for this position is **$** **23.85/hour,** after 90 days will be $24.35/hour **.** Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Key Responsibilities + Departments with varying duties may include Carbon Friction, Linings, Inspection, Shipping and Receiving, and Assembly. + Follow production schedules and complete work within specific time frames to meet production targets. + Adhere to specific operating and work instructions, with the ability to adjust production equipment when necessary and in accordance with manufacturing procedures. Record data and complete production reports. + Inspect products for visual defects in accordance with established standards, ensuring that all parts meet quality specifications. Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems, contributing to continual process improvements and the effectiveness of the team. + Follow good safety and housekeeping practices in assigned work areas and throughout the plant. + Must be able to operate a powered industrial vehicle if required for job duties. + Perform other duties as directed by supervision to support the overall production process and meet business objectives. + Ability to learn quickly and follow procedures. + Effective team contributor. + Makes recommendations for improvement in processes. **YOU MUST HAVE** + High School graduate or equivalent experience + Due to Federal regulations, candidate must be either a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident + Basic math skills and the ability to accurately record data + Possesses solid teaming and communication skills + Excellent attention to detail and can follow written and verbal directions + Good time-management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment + Ability to focus on quality while executing job tasks + Ability to lift up to 35 pounds + Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and measuring gages **U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS** **Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.** The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
