The Quantitative Developer (multiple openings) at MPG Operations LLC in New York, NY will build and support existing microservices, making up the distributed risk calculation system, ensuring scalability,reliability, and maintainability. Take ownership of the whole software engineering lifecycle, including requirements gathering, idea iteration, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of end userproducts. Construct and implement standard data structures and design patterns. Apply technical and engineering skills to utilize modern C++, leveraging concepts, coroutines, constexpr, and smart pointers. Workwith a development stack that includes Linux/Unix platforms, Python, Java, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Docker. Conduct research on technical and engineering optimization, including low-latency execution, memory efficiency, and cache locality, to improve system performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with other technologists and research focusedteams across EMEA, US and APAC regions to deliver innovative solutions and ensure alignment with global business needs. Salary: $175,000 - $250,000 per year.Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and 2 years in software development, or related, occupation. Must include 2 years with each of the following: 1) C++ software development, including C++17 or above; 2) reactive programming frameworks and dependency injection frameworks; 3) build large-scale infrastructure applications; 4) Linux Internal Systems and Networking, including process management, threading, memory allocation, TCP/IP, and UDP networking protocols; 5) design low-latency systems optimized for real-time execution; 6) optimize software for efficient memory usage and cache-friendly data structures; 7) manage codebases, branching strategies, and collaborative workflows using Git; and 8) design scalable and maintainable software architectures using programming frameworks.To apply please send resume to and reference job code
