Kubernetes DevOps Engineer- Onsite Experience: 10+ years Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future Location: Candidate is required to work from office in Boston, MA or Bellevue, WA We are seeking a skilled and proactive Kubernetes DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably EKS), AWS services , and automation tools. Key Responsibilities u00b7 Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters in production environments, preferably using Amazon EKS. u00b7 Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning. u00b7 Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python to support deployment and operational tasks. u00b7 Work with AWS core services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) to build and maintain scalable cloud environments. u00b7 Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment workflows. u00b7 Collaborate with development teams to support application architecture (Java and/or Python). u00b7 Monitor system performance and reliability using observability tools such as Datadog or Dynatrace. u00b7 Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across cloud and container environments. Required Qualifications u00b7 Proven experience with Kubernetes in production environments (EKS preferred). u00b7 Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services. u00b7 Proficiency in Python scripting and Terraform. u00b7 Experience with CI/CD systems and container build/deploy workflows. u00b7 Familiarity with application architecture (Java and/or Python). u00b7 Exposure to observability tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, or similar. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 11/14/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $79,240u2013 $133,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizantu2019s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizantu2019s applicable plans.
