Medical Receptionist

Description We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic psychiatry practice in Albany, New York. In this role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the front office by managing patient interactions, scheduling, and administrative tasks. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about supporting mental health care in a fast-paced and compassionate environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Welcome patients warmly and ensure a seamless check-in process. u2022 Handle incoming calls professionally, including scheduling appointments and confirming bookings. u2022 Verify insurance details and assist patients with billing inquiries. u2022 Conduct appointment reminder calls to ensure timely attendance. u2022 Process copayments and support billing operations efficiently. u2022 Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation. u2022 Assist with administering Spravato/Ketamine treatments under clinical guidance. u2022 Perform testing and other related procedures as required. u2022 Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient care delivery. u2022 Execute additional clerical tasks to support the practice's daily operations. Requirements u2022 High school diploma required; associateu2019s degree preferred. u2022 Minimum of 1u20132 years of experience in a medical office setting. u2022 Familiarity with eClinicalWorks software is highly desirable. u2022 Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) is advantageous but not mandatory. u2022 Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 A compassionate and meticulous demeanor is essential. u2022 Proficiency in technology and billing systems is required.
