Customer Service Representative Express Employment is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join a local client's team. This role involves processing customer orders, preparing estimates, coordinating with production, and ensuring excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Provide customer support via phone, email, and in-person. Process and enter customer orders into the company’s production system. Prepare and present quotes and estimates, ranging from simple emails to complex spreadsheets. Coordinate with vendors to secure the best materials and manufacturing options. Track job statuses and communicate updates to customers. Maintain accurate customer records and documentation. Assist with sales activities, including follow-ups, handwritten notes, and marketing initiatives. Support large-scale projects such as mailing campaigns and bindery tasks. A Typical Day: Order Processing & Follow-Through: Handle 5-20 jobs daily, depending on workload. Estimating: Prepare 5-20 quotes per day, adjusting for business volume. Sales & Support Activities: Maintain customer database, follow up via email, calls, and handwritten notes, assist with promotions, marketing, lead generation, and large manual projects like envelope stuffing. Qualifications: Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Adobe knowledge is a plus. Basic math skills for estimating and pricing, including “what-if” scenarios. Ability to multitask and shift priorities quickly in a dynamic industry. Trustworthy and dependable, with strong attention to detail. Previous experience in customer service, estimating, or sales preferred. Familiarity with printing processes or graphic design. Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $18.25 - $19.50/hour based on experience Benefits: Health (95% employer-paid), dental, vision, life insurance, short- & long-term disability (100% employer-paid), 401k with 4% match. Paid Time Off: Vacation based on tenure, 2 paid sick days per year. Holidays: 7-8 paid holidays, including major federal holidays and partial days on Christmas/New Year’s Eve.
