Prepare federal, state & local income tax returns, federal and state tax estimates, extensions, and forecastingUtilize advanced corporate tax knowledge and understanding to support the tax compliance and tax provision processReview and prepare complex corporate, federal, and state tax returnsDemonstrate understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculationsAudit quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions prepared by staffDemonstrate understanding of tax return filing requirements for foreign operationsConduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects to minimize tax expenseRemain current on developments and changes in tax law and accounting proceduresQualifications Sought:Bachelors degree in accounting or related field2+ years of corporate income tax prep experience in corporate, public accounting, or professional services settingsKnowledge of corporate income tax provisions and/or preparation of consolidated federal and state tax returnsProficiency with automated tax processing systems and online tax research tools such as ONESOURCE, CCH, RIA, and BNAExcellent advisory and compliance capabilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex informationThis is a hybrid position that requires working in the Florham Park, NJ office a minimum of three days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and/or at local client sites as business requiresCompensation: The salary range for this position is $82,000-$96,000, based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________nnAbout Global Tax ManagementnnGlobal Tax Management (GTM) is a corporate tax services firm dedicated to helping mid-size and large multinational corporations address complex tax operations.
