This is your opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a pivotal role in advancing our technical capabilities for sustainable, resilient infrastructure.Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for water treatment projectsPlan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staffDesign and optimize water treatment facilities for both public and industrial applications, prioritizing water quality, regulatory compliance, and public health protectionAssess and improve aging infrastructure to enhance reliability and resilience of water distribution systemsMonitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital water infrastructureComplete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutionsProvide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staffBachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering requiredMinimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience requiredProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredProficient in all aspects of water treatment design from supply to treatment plant and distribution systemKnowledge of water treatment design standardsAdvanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, Plant3D, Civil 3D, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, etc.), as well as Microsoft OfficeStrong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsProven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredLead challenging water treatment projects that push the boundaries of engineeringMentor and inspire junior engineers dedicated to delivering sustainable solutionsCollaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible work environmentCurious about the impactful work our Water/Wastewater team is doing?
