With strong communications skills and a keen attention to detail, this position plays a key operational role in ASHP’s data-driven marketing strategy through the collection, analysis, and reporting of member and customer insights. The Marketing Coordinator works closely with colleagues in the Office of Marketing & Communications to ensure integrated outreach strategies and efficient delivery across all channels and platformsThis is a hybrid position that requires candidates to live in the Washington, DC area and be present in the downtown Bethesda, Maryland office as needed. At ASHP, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. The base salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000 and ASHP offers a comprehensive benefits plan. Note: this position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.Support the execution of email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, A/B testing, scheduling, and performance tracking.Assist in the day-to-day management of marketing automation tools and CRM systems.Coordinate logistics for member surveys, including respondent list management, reminder emails, and basic analytics.Provide hands-on support for data cleaning and preparation of survey results.Maintain marketing calendars, track campaign milestones, and compile post-campaign performance reports.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content, ensure accuracy, and ensure campaigns reflect brand and messaging standards.Support broader marketing and communications initiatives, including website updates, content development, and event promotions as needed.Perform other duties as needed.Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or data operations, preferably in a nonprofit or membership-based organization.Detail-oriented and process-drivenCurious and eager to learn new tools and technologiesAnalytical thinker with problem-solving mindsetClear and professional communicatorCollaborative and team-orientedExperience with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot or similar) and survey software (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or similar)Excel or Google Sheets proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning)Basic reporting and dashboard creation experienceProject Coordination and organization experienceASHP is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
