View the comprehensive information about the competitive benefits package on our careers page then scroll down to CENTERS Benefits (click link to view).Safely instruct client through an effective personal training session at the Recreation CenterProvide quality customer service to all clients and potential clients, regardless of fitness level, appearance, or otherwiseEnsure client safety throughout the strength and cardiovascular areasCommunicate effectively with the supervisor through phone, email, or in personEnforce all program policies and procedures as it pertains to the personal training programEnforce all building policies and procedures and assist as needed during emergenciesAttend all Personal Training and all-department staff meetingsOther duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certificationsPossess current certification in one of the following, examples include, but not limited to:ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA; additional NCCA-accredited certifications are often acceptable and will be reviewed for considerationLeadership and supervisory abilitiesEntrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasmExcellent organizational, and written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work independentlyKnowledge of standard practices in recreational sportsAbility to thrive in an environment that values high expectations, accountability, and balanced lifestylesCompetencies:Technical CompetenciesProficiency with Fitness Assessment Equipment, including but not limited to: Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, Body Fat measurement with calipers, Waist to Hip Ratio, Cardiovascular Testing, Muscular Strength and Endurance Testing, and Flexibility TestingProficient with Exercise Prescription and developing progressive workouts for clientsHumanRelations:Internal contacts include staff at all levels. External contacts include external customers and vendors.
