Gastrointestinal Technician

Employment Type: Full Time Shifts Available: Days Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pmLocation: Providence Medical Center—Kansas City, KSA GI (Gastrointestinal) technician supports endoscopic procedures and patient care in gastroenterology departments. The GI Tech has daily tasks that involve preparing and maintaining endoscopic equipment, ensuring all tools are sterilized and functional. The Technician assist physicians during procedures like colonoscopies and endoscopies, handing instruments and managing specimen collection for lab analysis. GI technicians also monitor patient vital signs, offer pre- and post-procedural care, and provide instructions to patients regarding recovery and care protocols.
