Night Audit - Part Time

The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the daily financial transactions of the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a safe, quiet, and welcoming environment during overnight hours. This role combines accounting tasks with front desk duties to support the smooth operation of the propertyProvide exceptional guest service in a positive and clear speaking voice, listen attentively to understand requestsVerify and swipe credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methodsHandle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bankPost charges to guest rooms and/or house accounts as neededRetrieve messages, mail and facsimiles for guests as requestedResearch and perform revenue audit functionUpon completion of audit, input information into general ledger systemFile paid invoices in night audit packsResearch and respond to charge inquiries on a timely basisSend copies of guest folios on a timely basis via fax or mailFile registration cards in suite number orderNotify guests of incoming faxes using the message function on the computerHigh school graduateOne year Accounting experienceFluency in job related English, both verbal and non-verbalProvide legible communication and directionsCompute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)#Magnolia
