Kforce 's client, a Manufacturer in the Aerospace Industry, is seeking an experienced Controller in Avenel, NJ with a strong background in manufacturing accounting to support accurate inventory valuation, cost standard maintenance, and variance analysis. This individual will play a key role in ensuring cost data integrity, driving process improvements, and supporting informed business decisions across operations and finance.nnResponsibilities:n Controller will manage and maintain inventory records to ensure accurate reporting and valuationn Establish, update, and monitor cost standards to reflect current production and material costsn Maintain rolling standards to support continuous cost accuracy and forecastingn Conduct and reconcile cycle counts to ensure proper inventory controln Analyze and report on manufacturing cost variances, identifying cost drivers and supporting reduction initiativesn Develop, maintain, and monitor overhead rates to ensure accurate allocation of indirect costs to products and departmentsn As a Controller, you will partner with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support budgeting and forecasting activitiesn Assist with month-end close, reporting, and audit support related to inventory and cost accounting
