Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a dynamic construction company in the Orlando, FL area. In this Contract to Permanent position, you will play a crucial role in managing notice to owners, invoicing, reconciliation, and customer interactions to ensure the smooth operation of the accounts receivable process. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong background in billing, NTO's, and financial documentation. Responsibilities: u2022 Generate and distribute customer invoices on a weekly basis to ensure timely billing. u2022 Address and resolve any customer billing inquiries or disputes in a thoughtful and efficient manner. u2022 File and manage critical documents such as notices to owners, liens, and sworn statements of accounts. u2022 Perform daily reconciliations and prepare deposit documentation for submission to the central accounting team. u2022 Compile and maintain weekly accounts receivable aging reports to track outstanding balances. u2022 Respond to customer requests for lien releases, copies of invoices, tickets, or statements efficiently. u2022 Handle credit application processing and prepare documentation for review by the division controller. u2022 Utilize computerized billing software to manage accounts receivable processes; experience with industry-specific systems is advantageous. u2022 Maintain proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel to support daily tasks. u2022 Ensure compliance with notary requirements, either as a current notary or by becoming eligible for enrollment. Requirements u2022 Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and reconciliation. u2022 Strong data entry skills, with the ability to manage high-volume transactions accurately. u2022 Familiarity with filing and managing lien-related documentation. u2022 Proficiency in using computerized billing software; prior experience with construction industry systems is preferred. u2022 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. u2022 Effective communication and problem-solving skills to handle customer inquiries and disputes. u2022 Ability to process credit applications and provide necessary documentation for review. u2022 Notary certification or willingness to obtain certification is required.
