Our client, an innovative leader in robotics and automation technology, is seeking a dedicated Electromechanical Robotics Technician to join their dynamic team. As an Electromechanical Robotics Technician, you will be an integral part of the engineering and manufacturing departments, supporting the development, testing, and maintenance of advanced robotic systems. Job Title: Electromechanical Robotics Technician Location: Austin, TX Pay Range: $25 Shift: 8:00am - 6:30pm, Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday What's the Job? + Perform functional and end-of-line testing for robotic systems and subsystems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. + Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers, documenting findings thoroughly. + Assist in the assembly, integration, and maintenance of robotic platforms and test stations, supporting continuous process improvements. + Build and assemble custom cable harnesses following schematics, wiring diagrams, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards, ensuring high-quality workmanship. + Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement design improvements and support prototype builds, maintaining safety and quality standards. What's Needed? + At least 2 years of experience in electrical assembly, testing, or a related technical field. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. + Hands-on experience with cable harness assembly and electrical troubleshooting. + Familiarity with robotic systems or mechatronic assemblies is preferred. + IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification for cable harness assembly is a plus.
