Do you excel at solving intricate challenges and participating in projects that protect public health and the environment?CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Wastewater Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Team in Indianapolis, Loogootee, or Evansville, IN and lead the way in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions for wastewater collection systems. This is your opportunity to take ownership of complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a pivotal role in advancing our technical capabilities for sustainable communities.Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for wastewater collection systems such as sewer and pump stationsPlan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staffMonitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructureComplete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutionsProvide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staffBachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering requiredMinimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience requiredKnowledge of various technologies such as oxidation ditches, activated sludge, extended aeration, waste stabilization lagoons, and SBRKnowledge of wastewater design softwareProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredAdvanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft OfficeStrong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering lawsProven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsParticipation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferredLead challenging wastewater projects that push the boundaries of engineeringMentor and inspire junior engineers dedicated to delivering sustainable solutionsCollaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible work environmentCurious about the impactful work our Water/Wastewater team is doing?
